Scout Rep
Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
These terms govern your use of Scout Rep, operated by BuildMapper Ltd. By signing up, you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the service.
Who can use Scout
Scout is built for licensed trade contractors, builders, GCs, developers, and their teams. You must be 18 or older and authorized to send commercial messages on behalf of your business.
Acceptable use
- You will only send outreach to contacts who have a reasonable business expectation of hearing from you (permit applicants, builders, your existing network).
- You will honor STOP / unsubscribe requests immediately — Scout does this automatically; do not work around it.
- You will not use Scout to send spam, scams, harassment, or anything misrepresenting your identity.
- You will not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell Scout's data or outputs.
Your content
You retain ownership of the network contacts and message content you provide. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate Scout for you.
Billing
- Subscription fees are billed monthly. Credits roll over for 30 days.
- You can cancel anytime — your access continues through the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are at our discretion; we're reasonable.
Service availability
Scout depends on third-party services (Twilio, Anthropic, Supabase, Vercel). We aim for high uptime but make no guarantees. Permit data is sourced from public records and may have ingestion lag.
No warranty & limitation of liability
Scout is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, BuildMapper's aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost revenue or lost deals.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by text or email at least 14 days in advance.
